_What’s my jewelry made of?
Whether you buy 14kt or 18kt fine gold all the products we sell are real gold (not plated or filled).

_What’s the difference between 14kt and 18kt Gold?
KT stands for karat and refers to the percentage of gold in an alloy. 18kt contains 75% gold and 25% alloyed metals, also expressed as 750, and 14kt is 58% gold and 42% alloyed metals, also known as 585. Pure gold, or 24kt gold, indicates that it is entirely 24 parts gold and is not commonly used in the manufacturing of jewelry due to its softness.

_How do I know whether my jewelry is 14kt or 18kt?
A punch in a hidden part of the item says what KT is, along with the hallmark and the country of origin.

_How to take care of my jewelry?
Although 14kt and 18kt fine gold jewelry can be in contact with water and minor chemicals usually used on the body (such as hairspray or body lotion) with no immediate damage, it is highly recommended to avoid chemical exposure. Always avoid household cleaning products.
Remove the jewelry before any sport or physical activity, especially those that require heavy work or handling heavy weights.
Let your jewelry be the last thing you wear when dressing and the first thing you take off when you undress.
Always protect your jewelry when you are not wearing it, keep every piece in its bag, untangled, and separate earrings one another.

_How do I clean my jewelry?
Sweat shouldn’t ruin fine gold, but 14kt gold can tarnish over time, this depends a lot on the skin chemistry.
You can easily clean your jewelry with gentle soap and a soft cotton or polishing cloth: soak the jewelry in warm water and a few drops of gentle soap for a couple of minutes, wash it with a soft baby toothbrush, rinse it and gently polish it.
Do not use toothpaste or baking soda as they are too abrasive.
